I’m sorry to disappoint you, Dodge, but even without AE’s consecutive days, we won’t see a significant interest rate drop for him. Furthermore, he is 1337 and has many many tricks up his sleeve for acquiring top point slot. He could actually upgrade twice right now, putting him at level 87. He’s also helped Simpson along the way (according to my calculations).
I gave up cracking the maths and coding when I hit level 60. You’ll never see a pic of me unless AE mysteriously disappears and I highly doubt we’ll see an A&E special about the RE conspiracy for top slot on RE. XD

Yes, I’m actually working on a few other methods of raising my interest rate, they won’t quite have the power that the consecutive days did, but they’re giving me an advantage. Right now I can upgrade to level 87 and still have over 250k points, but I’m saving them to climb to the top of that stat leaderboard. Expect me to appear in the "Most Puzzle Pieces" leaderboard within the next few months as well, my progress is currently only being hampered by limitations weasel put into place on how often you can find them.

Also, check this out, there are a few gaps from when I’ve been busy and haven’t had time to surf the internet at my usual rate (I’ll leave my method ambiguous), but for the most part I’ve been consistently finding a puzzle piece once every 3 days.

I currently have 33 pieces, and last I checked the lowest person on the leaderboard (coincidentally being Gimp) was at 67. Now, I think the order in which equal numbers are arranged is determined by RE profile ID (or, to put it a bit more simple, join time), so even if I were to have the exact number of pieces as Gimp does, she should still theoretically be ahead of me due to this, so I need to have 68 pieces as of right now in order to do so, 35 more pieces. This would take a minimum of 105 days to accomplish, but let’s take short lapses of activity and her finding another piece or two into account, give myself a little slack, and say 120 days. That’s approximately 4 months, which, although seemingly long, is a relatively short time period in which to find 35+ pieces.
There are also a few other ways of gaining an upper hand, but they require more effort and I haven’t really felt like it, the things I’m doing now kind of do themselves with stuff I wrote months ago.
