Yo.
I got some MMA DVDs that I want to snail mail to my uncle in Austria. Is this a bad idea?
I have about 10 discs.

Nope. they don’t open your fucking mail dude :P
As long as you package it well and follow the mail rules for the packaging, you’re good. So long as your uncle doesn’t get caught and rat you out. then you pay a hefty fine and go to realtim assraping prison.

I don’t believe they can search mail anyway.

I’m thinking about putting it in one of those thin cardboard envelopes.
I don’t think I ever mailed anything in my whole life, which is why I’m clueless

there’s honestly no way you can get in trouble unless the guy points a finger at you and says "He did it".
they don’t search the mail for such things.

Even if they searched it, all they’d see would be disks. They wouldn’t know whats on’em, and I’m fairly convinced they’d be breaking a lot of confidentiality and data protection rules by accessing the contents of your disk to see what’s on it.

Put symbols on the disks and then tell your friend what the symbols mean. That way if the disk happens to somehow get exposed a person would have to actually view the software: not just look at a label.
