I’m pretty addicted to that poker you get on Facebook/tagged/Myspace and whatever other network
they are connected to but OMFG why can’t I find a table with people that speak fucking English!
Anyone else like poker?

Lol well online poker is ok. i meant like with oreos or candy and whatnot. That stuff if for the enjoyment of eating, and thats it.

IRL poker is much funner.
The most ive ever lost is $200 USD, and just recently took 3rd out of 10 in a tournament.

Yeah I play in a pub league.
I have been in a good few tournaments for just cash too,sometimes I win sometimes I loose.

Go to one of the online poker sites, it eliminates lots of the language issues.

I think online poker is a different game because IRL you can try to read people and have to keep your composure. I like offline poker but not really online.

After watching Casino Royale I felt that I understood Poker well enough and started playing online. It turned out I didn’t quite know as much as I should, and any games I won were just by chance, lol. I played using PKR, which is apparently good.
I was out for a quiet drink with a friend last year and he decided to try to teach me to play properly, just the two of us. It wasn’t going too well, and then he went up to the bar to get more drinks. When he came back I’d started chatting up 4 spanish senioritas who were sitting at the next table, and the game of poker was forgotten (well, the cards anyway!). We ended up taking the 4 of them back to his place, so the card game lesson was never finished. Good night though! ;)
