Here is a problem I have with the eggpage...Whenever I go to read an egg people are always leaving comments like "Uh okay fine the egg was bad but I’ll give ya 5***** just because you are a n00b" I think that is completely wrong...
When you give an undeserving egg 5 stars the author will think that he is doing a good job and will never learn from his mistakes. That equals more shitty eggs. Instead of that I think people should just tell the cold hard truth, rate the egg what it deserves to be rated(not take pity) and leave some comments on how can the guy improve.
It really just amazes me how some people are throwing around 5***** like cookies at a bake sale.

yeh i can see where u both are coming from. I don’t tend to throw around 5’s as much but i do cut noobs a bit of a break b/c they’re new, and as we all know writing a good egg isn’t as easy as it looks/sounds.

If anything, we should be harsh on the noobs, it will encourage them to make better eggs. If I see a crappy egg with a high rating, I just give it a zero to bring it down as much as possible. the theory is, if idiots are going around rating a 2* worthy egg 5*s, I am going to rate it a 0* to make up for their stupidity.

Listen....I rate what I think is fair. Lets say one of my really good friends on this site has a good egg in my opinion but everybody else sais its shit.....then Im still gonna give him the *5.
Listen Unchained.........I know now when you havnt been at RE very long, you kinda care alot about those things. I used to get REALLY annoyed by it too.........but the best thing to do is to except that alot of people just wont change and try not to care so much.
Im just happy I’ve FINALLY reached the point of egg point savings so that I dont have to rate many eggs anymore, I just get my interest so im happy.
Wow...........I just realized how long I’ve been saving these points w/o upgrading.

The egg page is utter shit, I havent viewed in ages, when I do, i unfilter first, then see if its alot of shit then I 5+ it, and if it still sucks I just 10+ it...I havent been there in a while, it was good some time back

The reason people think im such an asshole is because these retards leave comments like "derp,.awsom man ur s0 kewl 5***" on shit eggs
And then sensible peoeple just rate it 0 and move on, not bothering to waste time commenting on shit
So the comments are full of n00bs saying 5, but the rating is 1*
But i don’t really give a shit if people agree with me or not anymore

im tired of people saying "well this is my first post". well i dont give a damn what number post it is, i will rate it on quailty and content. i dont think noobs should be cut anyslack. when i started i didnt say "IM A NOOB GIVE ME A BREAK" cause thats not how it works. my 2nd egg got into peoples fave lists and my first has an above 3 score. why is this? because of quality not because i got cut slack. i dont mean to toot my own horn or anything, but thats the difference between the people who get respect and thos who dont around here: the quailty of the eggs. and it is bogus that someone who should be getting respect is getting props through the rating system.

i just made an egg at 9 (RE time) last night and it had a solid 5 with a bunch of votes. i check it this morning and it has a little less than a 5. then when i get back from school i check it and it has 30 something votes with a 2**.

i agree with rambo, wtf!!?!?!??! ppl should rate eggs for these reasons, thats what i do: how long it is, how well explained it is, how good/many pics/video there is, has it been done before, and so on, i think too many ppl just vote to get points, or because they hate/love the person

im with dinger on this one i never said OMG GUYZZ DIS BE ME FIRST EGG GOS EAZY ON MEH i mena i posted up my first egg and i fuckin got 4 stars on it
and when i started my hiding places eggs all of em got accepted but one. i never ask for a fuckin handout when i started out and neither should the fuckin lvl1 people we got here now. Now i anit sayin this like im the best because there are alot of people that own me and every one else on this site like C-SKI, rambo,defiler,boondoggle, and paco just to name a few.
any lvl 1 people that bitch and want us to give e 5 stars just cuz its there first egg should have there accounts fucking deleted
