Almost every time I watch a movie streamed off the internet I get audio lag. Not immediately, but after about 5 minutes the audio will slow down bu about a second. I dunno what happened, why its doing this, or how to fix it.
Any ideas as to why it does this?
Im not great with computers so..

Try it. It might work.

could be the sound driver on your computer is it a add-on card or built in sound chip? it could also be the amount of ram that you have, i don’t know home much you have but the more a program runs the more memory it uses and videos use alot of memory.

Im actually experiencing a similar problem on 32-bit Vista...but with mine EVERYTHING lags. Itunes, streaming video, downloaded video, myspace music and even DVDs

Are you using wireless internet? I just recently upgraded to a better wireless card,USB, while my other was a PCI, and thats when the issues started. I believe it may have something to do with conflicting drivers...but Im too lazy to search and destroy said drivers.

If youve installed an SP updates try reverting to a restore point, or if youve upgraded any pivotal hardware/software try uninstalling and then reinstalling

No wireless. My XP is hardwired to our router directly.
