My phone is ghey and doesnt have Java installed on it.
It has teh interwebs, Yahoo messenger, and games that can be downloaded.
None of the games are worth paying for, and all the good ones are Java powered.
How can I install java to my phone?
Its a LG AX380. I have it hardwired to my computer as well.
Any help is appreciated.
I dont have many points to donate, but ill give all of em to GOYC if you can help.

You can’t, it doesn’t support Java.
http://wap.kalador.com/
Try that.

Lmfao. You’re asking how to install Java on this?
That’s like asking how do you install R4 on RE.

Oh snap, I must be a geezer...That thing is from the future!
To answer you: No, don’t think you can get it on there if it didn’t come with it. The best way to find out is:
A) Call the phone company, and ask them. If they tell you "poop", then:
B) Call the phone manufacturer, ask them what the current firmware revision is, and if it is newer than the one you have, ask them if it has Java, and how you’d go about updating that. Some phones support USB firmware upgrades.

I have called Alltel about it, and they told me nothing.
LG discontinued my phone model a few months ago, and stopped making firmware.
Theres also another site, Hovr.com, that offers games for certain phones.
I selected my phone model, and chose one of that games.
I just clicked one of that games that was available from alltel too, just to see if it would work. Went to the WAP site on my phone, and it said that the data couldnt be retrieved.
It also gave me an option to download a .JAR file, and a .JAD file.
I have no idea how to turn those into what I want.

I think JAR files are Java files.

Correct.
If they discontinued your phone i highly doubt they would still be producing new firmware, sounds to me like your stuck.
Just to mention for anyone else a great site to get free java apps from is getjar.com.
