Biofuels will never take off. It’s not cost effective enough to manufacture. It costs 2 gallons of fuel to in turn produce 3 gallons of fuel. It’s a pipe dream.

What’s everyone think of the whole "bail-out" deal? The economy is terrible obviously, but I’m wondering about how people feel about this bill.

We are pretty much fucked... when the president uses that evil word "depression" on national television you know we’re in trouble. If we slow production any more, then we lose tons of money that we can’t afford to lose. If we increase production, it leads to inflation and we’re yet again royally screwed. Right now, the average American pays about 20% of their income in taxes, that will increase dramatically. There is just no talk of increasing taxes right now because of the election.

I got a job the day that this shit about the economy hit the news. Now that im a taxpayer, I STILL dont care though.
Though this whole thing makes the plan of minimum wage going up to $7-something next year iffy, which is about all I care about from this.
That, and inflation. I ALREADY PAY $60 FOR 360 GAMES AS IT IS FUCK WHY IS THIS SHIT SO EXPENSIVE

I’m alright, people will always need power.
However I went out to Ybor last last night, and it was dead! Not two months ago I couldn’t go out on a Thursday night and walk down the sidewalk...its depressing, I mean there were more beggers than buyers.

Well if the united states gov. was really frantic to decrease fuel use, it’d be quite easy to promote the production of high MPG vehicles such as that Geo with insanely great fuel economy. BUT the government LOVES what’s happening here... the longer this goes on the easier it will to justify stripping us of our rights. Mark my words...in due time the constitution will be as useful as toilet paper in Iraq.

20% to takes lol in australia we pay 1/3 of our pay to tax, and bitching about a 360 game costing $60 in australia they cost over $120. And at the moment our money is around dollar for dollar so please american’s quit bitching this is what you guys get for living lifestyles full of cheap indulgences.

-Thats cause your guys’ government is really demanding of its citizens and stomps all over them (or so I heard)
-Im not bitching, I dont really care that much, since I have a job. But it still sucks when you pay $120 for just buying two games.
-One group of Americans’ actions doesnt dictate how everyone else acts.
Just because 2/5 of the population (hell, probably 4/5) of the population charged their McMansion, Hummer, Cadillac, $1000/month clothes shopping, thousands of Starbucks (whatever coffees), and other crap on credit and never bothered to pay it back doesnt mean that the other 3/5 or 1/5 of the population does that.
Thats like me saying everyone’s dad in australia got killed by a stingray while scuba diving.

Not really, theres probably only few people who die of stingray related shit, but this economy shit is not only affecting a good portion of the USA, but also a lot of places around the world.
But still, I’m gonna ride the gravy train, or I’ll probably go insane.
