For those of you that don’t know, Prypiat is the name of the city that contained Chernobyl, the Nuclear plant that went critical. Since they surrounded the plant in an iron tomb, it’s safe to walk around the city streets. Those of you that played Call of Duty 4, the representation of the city is pretty accurate, and ever since seeing some of the photos of the actual city Ive wanted to walk around the deserted streets.
Any thoughts on the city, or the plant?

I think it would be cool to go there and see everything left the way it was when the plant went critical.

Chernobyl is still mother fucking contimated its not once they fucking seal the reactor the radioation suddenly goes the fuck away no its stays around if you knew about half life not the game that the radiation has contaminated the area and will last for about 100 years from now. But please be my guess and ignore my post and walk around get some nice thyroid cancer or just plan cancer and while your at it drink the water and food that has been growing around it. So unless you do your study don’t go there ill equiped. Theres also Guards protecting the limits of the zone so you don’t run in and kill yourself they are there to protect you from runing like an idiot in there going LOL THERES NO RADIATION ANYMOAR ITS ALL SEALED UP.You need a special pass to go into the zone. But yes it would be an awesome UE i would love to accompany pentium or you there. Fuck yea Ghost town!

ThatBear, you are allowed inside the Zone of Alienation. Maybe not Chernobyl itself, but Prypiat is open. They ever give tours of the area. Infact, people still live in Prypiat. The radiation in the Zone is not going to affect you drastically.
Anywho, it would be great to see what thearea looks like after years of being untouched by humans.
