Co2 Grenade Question
I am intrested in making a co2 grenade to blow up. I was wondering if i put Moon Traveller powder in the co2 cartridge, how loud would the sound be, or how big explosion be or how far would the shrapnel fly from the grenade itself.

After setting one of those off and shooting a 12 guage, I can say it is deeper than a 12 gauge and a little bit louder. Shaprnel isn’t that bad, I set mine off about 30 feet away, didn’t hit me. They do start fires on dry grass, so watch out.

Well, 9 times out of 10, bad grain black powder (moon traveler lol) isnt anywhere near strong enough to destroy the frame of a 12 gram
it may work it may not, im not sure.....but i do know that if it is going to work it has to be packed EXTREMELY tight in order to spark and explode

Wtf is moon traveler powder? And if that is just normal black powder, it does not have to be packed tight, it can be loose.

Oh yes, buy pistol powder, not rifle powder. Rifle powder is designed to burn longer than pistol, as the barrel is longer. Pistol barrels are short (duh), so they need a fast-burning powder. If powder is still burning when the bullet leaves the barrel, you are wasting energy and money.

Easy. Take a screw, place it in the hole, and whack it with a hammer. It removes that metal shit and is big enough for a fuse to fit through.

I honestly doubt it. For it to even have a chance, it must be a very fine powder and packed together, which is near impossible to do in a CO2 thingy.

*cough* told you so *cough*
Yeah PVC’s your best option but it does splinter and cause shrapnel so youll have to watch out
