Make a miniature matchstick model of 1906 San Francisco on a card table, put the sparklers anywhere in the model, shake the table, light it and re-enact history.

(sigh) Alright.
Tennis ball ’salute’.
Poke a small hole in a tennis ball.
Use scissors, wire cutters, or what ever to cut the heads off all the matches.
Put as many match heads as you can inside the tennis ball.
Stick the sparkler into the hole, so it’s sticking out, but touching the match heads.
Light the sparkler and get the hell away.
If you have a dog that likes to play fetch, don’t throw it.
There are many eggs on this...
You should’ve put ’Match’ and ’sparkler’ in the RE search bar...

Build it on an ant hill, and the ants can be the people... Sprinkle sugar all over the buildings a few minutes before lighting...

Make sure they’re red ants, and stand really close to the fire so you can get a feel for what it was like back at the time. Stand barefoot.
