Hello, it’s me! Anyway, I’ve written a couple of songs, and me, I can just know what I want to write about and just do non-stop writing, and then maybe go back and look at it over. However, I want tips on writing more songs, any ideas? I gotta go for a minute, and I hope there’s some nice idea’s for when I get back! :P Thanks.

What kind of songs? Rock, pop, country, Hiphop? That would have helped if you would have told us that info...

I’ve written quite a few lyrics in my day.. I might post one or two of them someday.

Eh, disqualify me. More of a Hiphop writer than anything else. You might think it’s the same thing (writing-wise) but it’s not. What would sound great in Hiphop form would be stupid in Rock form. Hence the arguments over who is the better lyricists out of the two genres.

Tips for writing rock songs, always have a strong point to a song. Don’t be afraid to say what you want and speak your mind. If you’re going for more of a factual standpoint, use facts and possibly some "Tongue-In-Cheek" humor to prove your statement. If you’re looking to write story-wise,be very de5criptive and use metaphors a lot. Just try to capture the feel of how you want the songs to sound, and how well you think the audience will relate to them. I hope this helps.

DONT write about girls. I fucking hate everything singing like pussies about girls. They need to get over it.

What I find is if I star listening to a lot of music I’ve never heard before, my brain is like "Hey, try something like this!" and starts to make similar (but not derivative) tunulations.
