i tried to do this this in note pad that makes your comp shut down, i typed

t-shutdown

and saved it as a .exe file to a usb flash drive

when i onpned it, command prompt opened up and said it was a illegal action do you wish to close.

the problem is that when i went to delete it it says that it is being used by another user and wont let me delete it
help me!

It isn’t any real risk.

Improperly formatted executable files just cause invalid interrupts to be used by the processor, causing mismatches the computer cannot usually handle.
That’s why you can type "OK" and save it as an exe, and it will crash a computer.

Your best bet is to remove the flash drive, restart the computer, and reinsert the drive. Then delete it. If you saved it as "Autoplay.exe" then you might have one hell of a problem if flash drives are autoplay compatible.

RER, you can make windows not execute autorun’s.

I just don’t know if it’s the same in XP.

Yea, you have to hold the shift key down or something. I dunno, I permantly disabled that so I don’t get poobugs
