Alright ive searched the site and nothing similar to this has ever come up, so I give you this:
What Is This?
The Following is a couple self tested methods on how to get some more time out of your fuse on that M80 or whatever.
Why is this Important?
Well there are a number of extremely fun things you can do with extra time to get a way. It also leaves ample time to get away from a doorstep when you leave a neighbor a "present"
My personal experience:
My favorite XP with this is a prank that required 3 off my friends and about 30 dollars worth of really really loud fireworks. We went to this guys house ( hes a douchey neighbor) and proceed to plant an assortment of about 12 mortars, m80’s, and other fun things in his yard. then using delayed fusses we lit them all and got clear out of dodge. it was probably one of the funniest things ever to see this guy come outside and start yelling and fireworks sporadically went off throughout his yard
Let us begin
The Basic Cigarette
Time: anywhere from 6-8min
Method: cut most of the filter off of the bottom and slide the fuse on up. ta da.
Reliability: about an 7/10. rarely do I have problems with this
Pros: low visibility. Works well in wind
Cons: If your a smoker (im not) then you might have a tough time donating a cig to the cause
The Birthday candle
Time: anywhere from 4-7 min
Method: this ones a bit trickier. In order to ensure maximum probability of the fuse being lit you need to position the fuse parralel to the candle

Pros: Does a good job of lighting the firework
Cons: Cannot be used in wind, High visibilty. Works great on a doorstep
Extended Fuse:
Obviously tie two fuses together. just included this one for kicks.
Time
about +4-8 seconds
Buy a roll of visco fuse and your set. its a little expensive but can come in handy
The Ultra Complex Expensive (sorta) ignition system.
Method:
This ones very complex...sort of extraneaous but lets say you have like a half stick of dynamite you need to go off (yes indian firework stands will sell anything) at an exact time
What youll need
A cheap rocket ignition system...heres the entire freaking set for 20 dollars
anyways read the directions, set up your igniter and tape it to the fuse. Clicky when your ready and kaboom.
Why the HELL would i want this?
Now that is a very valid question. Personally ive used this only once. I wanted to stick my half stick into this beehive. so we waited till the early morning when they were asleep and i set this up and carefully snuck it in...didnt even get stung! later that morning we unravelled the cord and blew the mo fo up. pretty sweet. not very cost effective...but worth it for one try.
Point and case being if you really want to blow something up that requires you to tactfully place the firework instead of just throwing it in there (rare occurance I know) then use this.
Pros: 100 percent reliability when done right. you trigger it whenever you want
Cons: expensive, and you have to be within like 20 yards of the thing.
the broken off firecracker
This is actually one of my faves. Break a firecracker in half and pop it on your fuse. works almost every time and adds about 10-15 seconds
potassium permanganate and glycerin:
now now now. I usuually hate those eggs to where they are all like well heres what u need
ect ect and name a shiteload of stuff youve never heard of and cant get your hands on.
However...
if you do want to take the time to get some of these ( they come in kits actually) and are pretty cheap then this is a pretty clever way to light like 4-5 things off at once.
Make your pile of potassium permanganate. settle fuses touching the mixture. add about...a tablespoon of glycerin to 4-5in diameter pile. then go ahead an bounce. This is rather unpredictable timewise, but in 3-15 min this whole mixture smokes and then goes up in flames igniting everything around it. its a pretty wicked effect
well ive got like 4 more but ill see if this even does any good haha. its long enough as it is. happy pranking. questions are gladly excepted. prefferably people wont be dicks...shit i just spent like 30 min typing all this. thats gotta be worth something hehe
