Hi, i just got back from the Jemez mountains (its pernounced hey miss mountains)
its just outside of the Jemez indian reservation in New Mexico
we woke up at 5 in the morning and got ready ro go, than left Albuquerque at 6:30am
it was roughly an hour and a half drive to the mountains
the trip didnt take long when i busted out my pipe and weed though. it seemed to go by fast though
we made our first stop of the day to go hiking
we went over to the river that was flowing and chilled there for a bit
the water was really dirty because we just had a big storm pass over us
than we climbed into a little cave that had a small hot spring in it
the water felt so good
than on the side of the road, there was another hot spring
after that, we got back into the car and headed up the mountain a bit more. than we stopped to go to a bigger hot spring
time for a very long hike
bout 10 minutes into the hike we crossed a bridge
the hike was very steep in some places
a view from the hot spring
a look at the hot spring
we got into the hot spring and just moved around trying to find a flat surface to put our hooka and pipe on. we smoked some shisha and some weed, untill the lighter got wet
we were at the hot springs for around an hour. than two weird people showed up so we left
we took the long hike back to the car and got in again
we passed a large area of forrest that had been burned. it was a perscribed burn though
we finally found a place to make a little campfire and to fish. here is my badass fishing spot
that creek was maybe 3-4 feet across and a foot deep
after a while, me and my friend went to look for a snake
there should have been snakes, but we found none
after that, we packed everything up and left
on the way down the mountain i took a pic of the walls around us. in the Jemez mountains, the rocks turn from a light red color to a dark red color after a rainstorm
than we went through two tunnels and did a burnout in one of them
