Step 1) First thing you want to do is open up notepad. If you don’t know where that is I’ll show you.Go to: Start->All Programs->Accessories->Notepad. Or if for some reason it\\’s not there, go to: Start->Run->then type in Notepad.exe.
Step 2) Anyway, when you have a new document open type in: lol = msgbox ("Text" ,4, "Text")
Step 3) Once thats done you can change "Text" into whatever you want. The first one is going to be your actual message, and the second one is your headline. So in the first one you would type something like, "A virus has been detected on your computer click yes if you wish to reboot, click No if you wish to ignore the problem." And in the second one something like "WARNING" or "A virus has been detected". After you do this save it as Msgbox.vbs. (THE ".vbs" PART IS VERY IMPORTANT). Then create a shortcut (this is what you\\’ll be working with from now on)
Step 4) Now, there’s a couple of things you could do with this. You could put it into the startup folder so everytime someone gets on the computer the msgbox will pop up. (Start->All Programs->Startup) then you should rename it startup. Or, you could put it onto the desktop and change the name and icon to something the person you are pranking uses all the time. To do this you right click the shortcut and go to Properties->Shortcut. You should see a button that says \\"Change Icon...\\" click it and change the icon to whatever you want. Then just rename it. Either way you should the shortcut not the original, and you should tuck the original somewhere safe.
Example: I changed the icon to that of a folder and renamed it to the same name as the folder. Then hid the original msgbox file in the "My Pictures folder" and deleted the original folder.
I apologise for any misspelled words. I have a msgbox file in my file locker If you are feeling lazy.
