this will (try) to show you how to make a paper throwing star with 8 points.
please try to follow along. its very hard to explain, but easy to show someone in person.
materials needed:
8 sticky notes
2 hands
Instructions:
1. start by taking a sticky note, and folding the sticky part kinda like on a paper airplane
step 2:
now take the point (by now it should look like your making a paper airplane) so take the tip of it, and fold it to the left corner of the fold, crease it and unfold it.
do that to the right corner as well and do that on all 8 sticky notes.
step 3:
now after youve done that, flip it over.
in the middle of it there should be a "mountain" and right below it is a small swuare and above it is a large triangle.
step 4:
now grab the small square and pinch those two corners together, so now all you should see from the top view is a triangle
do not unfold this
step 5: now on that triangle, tuck it in going straight down (that wasnt explained very good sorry)
now once you have done that for all 8 sticky notes follow these steps for assembling them.
pt2 stp 1:
take two of those sticky notes and put one inside of another. also hard to explain so try to use the picture.
now on the top, there was those two small flaps (by my index finger) and fold them inside the the one behind it, in this case the pink one.
keep doing this by just adding another sticky note to the chain you have going and then youll get this
now many of you will go silly nub... thats a circle...
just put your finders on the opposite side of each other on the circle, and push inwards.. do this all the way around the circle and youll get this
now it may not always stay a star, it may go back to being a circle, so just superglue it or staple it in place.

i sell them for a dollar apeice and i get about 5-10 a week.
it works good if you take two thin four point stars and staple them together.
