Ok, let’s get this straight now. I am 14 years old, I live in Canada, and all the dollar amounts Discussed in this egg are in Canadian.

First off, I’m going to tell you my story of how I got a free book or $15 depending on how you look at it. After my story is told, I will explain it differently (more like instructions so you can do this).
Well, I’m currently reading a series that is being written as I read, "The Keys to the Kingdom" by Garth Nix, A series of ten books only five are out at the moment.
So on March first, the fifth book came out. So I told my grandma that I want it.My mother and sister are visiting relatives in the US for the month. So a couple of days ago Her and I went to a Chapter book store in Metrotown (Burnaby BC, Canada ps. second largest mall in Canada) to purchase the desired book. All is well until my mom and sister come home. I say this because it turns out, my mom purchased the very same book while in the states for me. So now I have two of the same book. Here is where the fun begins.

My grandma purchased the book for me with her Chapters card, so she gets a 20% dicount on books. So the book that costs $30 now costs $16. Don’t ask me why it’s more like 50% off. Thats just how much it cost. But when my mother bought the book in the states, she shepaid the same for some reason. So we deside to try and retun the book my mom got to the store here. She payed $16 in the states for it. So when we get there, we deside to exchange it for another book in the series.

So the man said ok so I got my new book, but the new book was on sale of $9
The man then says we get the difference in price on a gift card(the man doesn’t know the book was bought with a discount) so low and behold, I have a gift card with $15 on it!
So long story shorter and simpler, $30 paid, $25 in books and $15 on a gift card. I just made $10.

#2- don’t just say it’s "fucken lame". Your entitled to your opinion, but please leave a comment on why it’s lame.
and PS. it’s not "fucken lame" and if you must say that, at least spell correctly. "fuck’in or fucking lame"
