how to make a co2 Mortar

So this is how you can make a co2 mortar without explosives. This is my first egg so go easy on me.

Materials:
-Co2 cartridge

-PVC pipe (the co2 cartridge should be able to slide through this, but not jiggle too much.)

-Nail

So, here’s what you do:

Trace the outside of the pipe on a piece of cardboard. Cut it out. Then make several copies of this. (Like 4 or 5) measure it out with a ruler or a compass or sumpin to find the center of the circle and mark it with a dot. You only have to do this with one. This is important, if it not dead center, it will not work. Then stack them all and glue them together. The circle with the dot should be on the top. Then stick the nail through the dot. Make sure that the nail goes through all of the circles and at least a half-inch of the nail is sticking out. Put the cardboard and the nail in the bottom of the pipe and glue it. You should have a tube with a nail sticking out of the bottom. Then hold the pipe at like a 70-degree angle or so and drop the cartridge out. The bottom of the cartridge will be pierced by the nail and it will fly out pretty fast and go pretty high.

Pretty cool man. I will try this tommorow in a field. This might come in handy if I dont want paintball someones house. :), Kidding thats stupid.
