this is for kids who cant buy bows or people who just cant be bothered paying 200 bucks
this bow is pretty powerful. it can shoot arrows right through aliminium cans. dont aim it at anyone unless they deserve it.
you need:
about 40-50 cm of small pvc pipe
1 thick rubber band
drill
some tape
2. random objects about the size of clothes pegs
bamboo skewers (for arrows)
what to do:
1. drill a hole through the pvc pipe in the middle. make the hole about twice as big as a skewer. try and get it as straight as possible. this is where you insert your arrow
it should look like this
2.stretch the elastic bad over the ends and tape it up . it should look like this.
3.almost done. you have to attach the handle. tape the two random objects and tape them on very tight. i used a leftover peice of pvc pipe and a clothespeg for this.
Dec 11, 2005 9:35 am - I give u a 5 but u could ues a thick birch branch (its red)and put 2 nockes on each end and tightly tie nyalon string on both ends so it has that bend in it works pretty good.
Dec 11, 2005 8:14 pm - Drilling a hole in the PVC would just make it brittle and cause the whole unit to shit itself after about 20 shots. Use wood and go for the recurve style.
Jan 25, 2006 1:03 am - damn you should see my bow it doesnt cost 200 bucks it costs more like 2000 bucks but this looks interesting i have never really made bows. these days id get bored of making them because ive been doing archery for 6 years now
