For all those airsoft fans I am going to teach you all now, how to make an airsoft pistol. It is made out of a suction cap dart shooter; I found it from a shop called cheap as chips, in Adelaide Australia. If you can’t find it from that shop then you could try a shop called toy world which should sell them as well.
You might have tried those suction cap dart guns and found that they were absolutely crap at shooting. and you might be thinking, how could one of those shoot bb bullets at 300 fps, well the answer is simple the rubber darts are way too light and big and because of the size they get a lot of drag from the airflow
But when you shoot a tiny bb bullet they hardly get any drag and they can shoot at pretty high speed.
You will need
1. a suction cap dart shooter
2. a tube that fits perfectly around a bb
3. electrical tape
4. scissors
5. bbs
6. and a laser pointer (optional)
How to build your airsoft pistol
1. Cut two pieces of electrical tape (5 mm in diameter)
2. tape them in the inner walls of one side of the tube (this will make the bb stay in one place)
3. wrap electrical tape on that side of the tube until it is as thick as the inner part of the original barrel
4. fit the side that has the tape around it into the original barrel and make sure it fits in well
5. tape around from one side to the other with electrical tape until it is tight
6. mount the laser on top of the back sight and glue it in place
How to shoot your airsoft pistol
1. drop a bb into the barrel
2. ether blow through the barrel or use a stick to push the bb down into the electrical tape at the back of the barrel
3. pull the toggle back until you hear it lock into position
4. shoot the bb gun and watch the bb fly
There are other guns you could use, I found a pump action foam rocket shooter that you don’t have to reload every time and it works quite well but basically anything that uses a spring or compressed air would work but the power of them may vary The weakest bb gun I’ve made was about 15 fps.

Jan 30, 2006 9:36 pm - yeah i know i was quite lucky to find this in my local cheap as chips store i think its a toy replica of a special forces hand pistol i dont know for sure but one thing i do know is that they wont be in the store for long so be quick about getting it
Feb 09, 2006 1:27 pm - what i also did is glued two suction cap shooter rifals together and put 7 mm tubes in it, and taped tape around all of it. this turned it into a double barreled shotgun
my gun shoots fairly slow.
but it’s still awesome.
i understand that. but when you find the crappyness of australian legal pellet guns, there is this one gun that fires big orange pellet things, and fires them like 5 metres far, spring powered, and costs 69 dollars. this one will pwn them things
